Filing History

The History page provides details on filing bundles,filing bundles, additional paymentsadditional payments, and ad hoc paymentsad hoc payments you and your connections have submitted to the court. This page also lets you access bundles you've saved but haven't submitted to the court.

 

An ad hoc payment is a separate payment submitted for a case. This feature is accessed through the Case Details page.

 

 

An additional payment is one or more payments submitted through the Bundle Assembly page. A court may require this payment be submitted with a filing.

 

 

A filing bundle consists of the filing documents (including fee waiver documents) uploaded on the Bundle Assembly page that will be submitted to the court.

 

IMPORTANT:  If the court system you're in allows Bulk Filing, you can also access bulk filing batches on the History page. See Bulk Filing Submission History to learn more.

To access the History page:

  1. Select History under Main Pages in the navigation pane.

If you've created and saved a bulk filing batch, you can access the unsubmitted batch through this tab. See Access a Saved Bulk Filing Batch for details. Note that the court system you're working in must allow Bulk Filing. See Bulk Filing to learn more.

  1. Select the button to locate the desired filing history - for example, My Network's History. The search date range defaults to the last 30 days.
  2. Specify a different date range, if needed. See Specify a Date Range for detailed instructions.
  3. Click Search.

The filing history specified is returned in Filing View. See Filing View and Bundle View below for information on these views.

Filing View and Bundle View

Two view options are available on My History, My Network's History, or My Organization's History. You can view details about submitted filing bundles (Bundle View) or about individual filings (Filing View). The default is Filing View.

For courts that allow Bulk Filing, a third option - Bulk Filing View - is available. See Bulk Filing Submission History to learn how to access details on submitted Bulk Filing batches. See Bulk Filing to learn about this feature.

Bundle View

Bundle View lists the filing bundles that have been submitted to the court by you, by a connection on your behalf, by one of your connections (My Network's History), or by you on behalf of an organization (My Organization's History). From within Bundle View, you can view and access a bundle's filings and additional payments, as well as any ad hoc payments made to a case.

  1. Select the Bundle View option on the History page, as shown below. Basic details on the bundle are listed, including the Filer and SubmitterFiler and Submitter.

     

    If you file on behalf of a connection, you are listed on the History page as the Submitter, and the connection is listed as the Filer.

    If you file on behalf of an organization you are listed on the History page as the Submitter, and the organization is listed as the Filer.

  1. Click a bundle to display its filings.

  1. Click the filing to display its details. Proceed to Submitted Filings to learn how to access and download documents related to the filing.

Bundle View - filing explanded

For an additional payment submitted with a filing or for an ad hoc filing submitted to the case, you can view the properties and the payment's status with respect to the court. Because such payments are not served, the Service Recipients / Status tab is not visible.

Filing View

Filing View lists filings submitted to the court. For each filing, you can access the filing details, its properties, its status with respect to the court, and who's been served (and if the recipient has accessed the filing document).

  1. Select the Filing View option on the History page, as shown below. Basic details on the bundle are listed, including the Filer and SubmitterFiler and Submitter.

     

    If you file on behalf of a connection, you are listed on the History page as the Submitter, and the connection is listed as the Filer.

    If you file on behalf of an organization you are listed on the History page as the Submitter, and the organization is listed as the Filer.
