TrueFiling Connections

TrueFiling uses connections to build a network of firm attorneys, firm members, pro se filers, and court reporters.

Connections may be allowed to file on each other's behalf and access each other's filing histories, payment histories, and any shared payment accounts.

You will invite other registered TrueFiling users to join your connection network.

To become a connection, they MUST log in to TrueFiling and accept your request. They won't be an active connection until they accept the request.

It's important to invite only trusted persons such as co-counsel or other TrueFiling users in your firm to become a connection. You are responsible for any filing, service, and payment actions that you or your connected users make as a result of a connection.

A court system's configuration determines the manner in which you manage your connection network.

In some court systems, when you invite a TrueFiling user to become a member of your connection network, you will grant them any or all of these permissions:

In such courts, when the potential connection accepts your invitation, they will specify which of the above permissions to grant to you.

See Connections with Specified Permissions for details.

However, a court system may be configured to grant the above permissions to all connections by default.

See Connections with Default Permissions for details.
