A TrueSign administrator must enable the auto anchor feature. Details on that process are found in the TrueSign Administrator Help, which is available only to administrators.
In TrueSign Designer, you'll design the envelope, upload the required documents, and prepare it for signing. See Use TrueSign Designer to Create and Configure Envelopes to learn more.
When creating the envelope, you can manually add anchors to a document to specify where the signer must sign or add an annotation such as a date. See Document Anchors to learn more.
Once the envelope is created, and its signers are specified, you can send it to be signed.
TrueSign, however, can be enabled to allow auto anchors. These anchors are created by including specific replacement text in the PDF file before it is uploaded to TrueSign and added to an envelope.
The replacement text is recognized, and the defined anchor is displayed when the:
OR
TrueSign will detect these replacement strings and automatically create the defined anchor based on the string's content.
This feature is helpful if you're using standardized forms or templates to create documents and don't want to manually apply anchors to multiple documents.
