Capture your Initials

The signing process often involves initialing certain content on a document. You can create and store your initials for placement on a document.

1. On the Home page, select My Signatures from the navigation menu. 

2. Click the Capture Initials button. The Capture Initials page is displayed.

TrueSign provides three methods to capture your initials. Each is detailed here.

Type

When first launched, the Capture Initials page defaults to Type.  

1. Your initials will default based on your name; update if needed.
2. Select the text color.
3. Select the style.
4. Click Save.  Your selected initials are listed on the My Signatures page.

Finger / Mouse

When first launched, the Capture Initials page defaults to Type.

1. Select the Finger or Mouse tab.

2. Select the color to apply.
3. Use your finger (on a touch screen) or mouse to draw your initials.
4. Click Clear or Undo last stroke to try again.
5. Click Save. Your initials are shown on the Preview page.
6. Click Looks good to save your initials. They'll be listed on the My Signatures page.

Mobile Device

You can use your mobile device to capture your initials.

When first launched, the Capture Initials page defaults to Type.

1. Open your camera on your mobile device and select the rear-facing option.
2. Select the Mobile Device tab on the Capture Initials page.
3. Position your device to display the QR code. The TrueSign web address notification is displayed.
4. Tap the notification to open the link. 

The Capture Initials page on the TrueSign app is launched on your device.

5. Use your device to draw your initials.
6. Click Clear or Undo last stroke to try again.
7. Click Save. Your initials are listed on the My Signatures page.
